Donation Terms

1. Donation Nature

Donations to Proud Of Us USA are voluntary contributions made at your discretion. By making a donation, you understand and agree that:

• Donations are NOT tax-deductible
• Proud Of Us USA is not a registered nonprofit organization or 501(c)(3) entity
• Donations are voluntary contributions to support our mission and work

2. Use of Donations

All funds donated to Proud Of Us USA are used to support:

• Video research and development
• Video production and editing
• Development and publication of our upcoming book
• Website maintenance and operations
• General operating expenses

We are committed to using donated funds responsibly and in accordance with our mission.

3. One-Time Donations

One-time donations are processed immediately through Stripe and are final. Once a one-time donation has been completed and processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded except as outlined in our Refund Policy section below.

4. Monthly Recurring Donations

If you choose to make a monthly recurring donation:

• Your donation will be processed automatically on the same day each month
• You will receive a confirmation email from Stripe for each transaction
• You may cancel your monthly donation at any time through your Stripe account
• Cancellation takes effect immediately and no further charges will be incurred
• Cancellation instructions are available through Stripe's customer portal

5. Payment Processing

All donations are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store or have direct access to your full payment card information. 6. Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Refund Period: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the donation date
• Case-by-Case Review: All refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Monthly Donations: If you cancel a monthly donation, you will not be charged for future months, but previous charges are not automatically refunded
• Processing Time: Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days

7. No Refund Guarantee

Refunds are not guaranteed. While we will consider all refund requests submitted within 30 days in good faith, we reserve the right to decline refund requests at our discretion based on our evaluation of each case.

8. Donation Receipts

You will receive an email confirmation from Stripe for each donation. This confirmation serves as your donation receipt. Please retain these confirmations for your personal records. Note that these receipts do not constitute tax deduction documentation, as donations are not tax-deductible.

9. Changes to Donation Terms

We may update these Donation Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued donations after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for any updates.

10. Prohibited Use

Donations must not be used for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose. Proud Of Us USA reserves the right to refuse or refund any donation that violates applicable laws or these terms.
